Our Goal:

• developing an attitude of gratitude and appreciation for the story of the unfolding universe andthe evolution of life on earth, through seminars and reflection days;
  
• drawing on the wisdom of indigenous people and scientists to become educated through field observations and workshops about the way earth’s life support systems and natural landscapes function, with particular reference to the property St Joseph’s Mount Bathurst; 
  
• awareness raising about critical issues caused by the current relationship of humans and the environment, and encouraging creative and sustainable personal and community values-based responses to these issues;
  
• taking action, personally and through bipartisan political processes, to care for the earth and live more sustainably within the limits of its natural resources;   
  

• integrating the traditional works of mercy and justice for human beings with mercy and justice for the earth and its community of life and life support systems, based on the principles of the Earth Charter and the Millennium Development Goals
  

• provision of opportunities for disadvantaged people and volunteers to participate in meaningful community.
  
• co-operative projects within a supportive community, that is sensitive to the integrity and interconnectedness of all creation, and recognises its own interdependence.
