Bliss balls - three variations

At our John Seed Deep Ecology retreat, Alicia produced these AMAZINGLY delicious bliss balls - sugar, dairy and gluten free. 

 

INGREDIENTS


Recipe 1
Carrot Cake Bliss Balls

1 cup roast cashew
1 cup desiccated coconut
12 medjool dates
1 carrot roughly chopped (60-80 grams)

Recipe 2
Chai Bliss balls

12 medjool dates
1 cup dry roasted almonds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground cardamom
¼ tsp Chinese five spice
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp all spice
½ tsp vanilla essence
Pinch salt

Recipe 3
Lemon Bliss balls

Juice and zest of two lemons (weighing approx. 100g each)
3 Tbs honey
2 cups desiccated coconut
2 cups almond meal

METHOD
For each bliss ball place all ingredients in blender at high speed until mixture resembles sticky crumbs. 

Roll the mixture into balls and set in fridge
