2 tablespoons honey
1 cup flour
2 tsps baking powder (optional)
1 cup oats, almond meal or hazelmeal
2 tsps cinnamon
1tsp vanilla essence
1 apple, beetroot, pear or carrot
1 cup sultanas, dates, dried apricots or nuts of choice
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Melt butter and honey in a pan.
Place all dry ingredients in a bowl.
Stir in melted butter and honey
Add egg and mix well.
Place into a 20 x 15cm oven tray
Cook for 20 minutes.
Leave to cool for 15 minutes before cutting into squares
